RECRUITING CENTRAL
NCAA Divisions I, II and III have different guidelines for telephone use in athletic recruiting, with Division I having the most restrictive rules. In all sports other than football and basketball, Division I does not allow calls from faculty members or coaches (never from boosters) until July 1 after completion of your junior year of high school. After this date, in sports other than football, a college coach or faculty member is limited to one call per week to you, your parents or legal guardians.

However, unlimited calls may be made to you, your parents or legal guardians during the five days immediately before your official visit to that school, or by a coach on the day of the coach's off-campus contact with you, or on the initial date for signing the National Letter of Intent in your sport through the two days after the initial signing date.

You or your parents may telephone a coach at your expense as often as you wish. Coaches also may accept collect calls from you and may use a toll-free number to receive calls from you on or after July 1 after completion of your junior year.

For more college recruiting information, visit the Ping American College Golf Guide at www.collegegolf.com/.
