Ryan Brehm took second, finishing at 209 after rounds of 67-71-71--209 at Roseland Golf & Curling Club in Windsor, Ontario.
Pressel, who finished at 2-over 218 along with Amber Prange, retained her title in a playoff. Pressel recently won the Buick Junior Open presented by Golfweek.

''The back nine was crazy,'' Cochran said. ''I hit the 4-iron of my life on No. 15 and still managed to make bogey. I just couldn't shake it.''
Liao shot 3-under 33 on the back nine to close the gap.
Cochran (74) and Liao (72) parred the first extra hole and Cochran birdied the second playoff hole (No. 16) to take her first AJGA title.

The leader at that time was Chile's Martin Ureta, who finished in second at 7-under 209.

Granada, a second-team Polo Golf Junior All-American, held a three-stroke advantage over Park through 16 holes, but missed a short par putt for the victory in regulation on No. 18.
''I never miss short par putts like that,'' Granada, 16, said. ''If I didn't win in the playoff, I knew I had played my best to get to this point.''

Mondaca: Caddies not the Having spent time at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship I noticed a very interesting trend. The players who performed the best got little aide from their caddies, or in some instances, they had no caddie at all.
Most of the players in the 144-player field were college players and juniors: Michelle Wie, Stephanie Kono and Hannah Jun were just some of the juniors at Ocean Hammock.
That leads to a very important question: Why are caddies accepted at U.S. Golf Association junior championships? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

PLAYER TO WATCH Consider the 12-year-old's philosophy at this year's International Junior Golf Tour's Tournament of Champions.
''I play my best golf when I don't care,'' said Yun, who started tagging along with his father to the golf course because he thought the game looked fun. ''I just play my own game, shot by shot. I did that during my first round at the Tournament of Champions.''
The plan worked. Yun shot an opening 66 and went on to finish fourth in his age division at the IJGT tournament. He also finished in the top 10 on the tour's merit point list for ages 11-12.
Golf is a priority for Yun but beyond the course he said he'd like to become a missionary.
As for free time, the Phil Mickelson fan, who lists Sandpines Golf Links in Oregon as his favorite layout, said he likes playing basketball and hanging out with his friends.
